NATIVE AMERICANS INTO MEDICINE (NAM)

NAM is a seven-week summer enrichment program for college sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in pursuing health careers. NAM Summer programs will provide students with both qualitiative and quanitative research experience. 

Program instructors include a broad range of Native American faculty, health professionals, traditional elders, and medical students. Accepted NAM students earn a stipend for living expenses. Campus housing is also available for those traveling from outside the Duluth region.

Medical School Pre-Admission Workshop (PAW)

Each Spring, CAIMH collaborates with universities and organizations in the surrounding states to host the annual Great Lakes Native American Applicant Workshop.

PAW serves students who are ready to apply to medical school. Students will work with admissions and medical school faculty to address the challenges of applying to medical school.
