Why I chose the University of Minnesota Medical School

Hello! I am an out-of-state student, originally from the Chicago area, and I came to medical school straight from undergrad at the University of Notre Dame. Medical school is amazing and I have loved getting to know and learn from my classmates. When I'm not studying SMP and anatomy, I enjoy biking and running around the city, walking by the river, and trying all the delicious food and ice cream that Minneapolis has to offer. I chose Minnesota for the people. During my interview day I was blown away by how true the "Minnesota Nice" stereotype is and I knew I would have to come here if I was lucky enough to be accepted.
