Why I chose the University of Minnesota Medical School

As a born and raised Minnesotan, I wanted to stay in the state and want to work as a family physician. The Duluth campus was a perfect fit.

Research experience

Between my junior and senior year of undergrad I worked with the scientists at the Kabara Research Institute in Lacrosse Wisconsin on a breast cancer research project for 10 weeks.

Medical interests

Serving the rural Minnesota population.
