Why I chose the University of Minnesota Medical School

Hello everyone! I love the local food scene around the Twin Cities, and know where to get the tastiest cheese curds. If it wasn't for COVID, I would be spending too much money at coffee shops and thrift-shopping! The community of people, the outstanding education, the numerous research opportunities in an academic institution, and the avenues for networking in the Twin Cities are what drew me to the University of Minnesota for medical school. Minnesota has also been my cold beloved home for a long time, so having familiar surroundings helped as well!
