Trainees Excel at the Midwest Anesthesia Residents Conference
Trainees from the University of Minnesota Department of Anesthesiology—including residents, medical students, and a fellow—traveled to Indianapolis, IN, to participate in the 2025 Midwest Anesthesia Residents Conference (MARC). This annual event brings together students, residents, fellows, and faculty from 37 academic anesthesiology departments across the Midwest to share medically challenging cases, innovative research, and quality improvement initiatives.
This year, nine of our trainees received recognition across a range of presentation categories, including a first-place award earned by one of our medical students. These accolades reflect the hard work, dedication, and academic excellence demonstrated in their cases and projects.
Congratulations to all of our trainees who presented their outstanding work—and to those who were honored for their achievements!
