Summary
Dr. Chen grew up in Chicago, IL and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois in Urbana. She received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Washington University/Barnes Hospital. Her training in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology were completed at the Harvard Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She then joined the faculty at Washington University School of Medicine, serving as the Director of the Electrophysiology Fellowship Program. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Minnesota, she was the Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at the Orlando VA Medical Center. She is currently the Director of the Cardiovascular Fellowship and Electrophysiology Fellowship Programs, and the Director of the Arrhythmia Device Clinic.
