I have the honor of overseeing all internal and external communications for the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth Campus, and fostering our missions towards improving health outcomes of rural and Native American communities.

During the novel Coronavirus pandemic, it has been most critical to communicate vital COVID-19-related laboratory research, public health announcements, and expertise.

In May 2020, I graduated with a Master of Professional Studies degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, focusing on crisis communications. The need to cultivate socially conscious leadership and innovative problem solving is what motivated me to expand my expertise as a communications professional in addressing the real-life issues of tomorrow.
