Dr. Montezuma has subspecialty expertise in providing medical and surgical care for all retina diseases in adults and children, including Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Inherited Retina Dystrophies, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, vein occlusions, Trauma and retinopathy of prematurity.

Dr. Montezuma's research interest focus on retina prosthesis or Bionic Eye, Age-Related Macula Degeneration- Stem Cell Research, Retina Imaging and angiogenesis, Retina Clinical Trials.

Clinical Experience Statement

Dr. Montezuma has subspecialty expertise in providing medical and surgical care for all retina diseases in adults and children, including macular degeneration, retina dystrophies, diabetic retinopathy, retina detachments, and retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. Montezuma's research interest focus on retina prosthesis, age related macula degeneration, retina imaging and angiogenesis.
