Joseph Garry, MD, is faculty in the University of Minnesota Program in Sports Medicine and sees patients at the University of Minnesota Physicians Sports Medicine Clinic. He completed post-graduate training in academic medicine, faculty development, public health, primary care sports medicine, and research. Previously, he worked for the U.S. Air Force and held faculty positions at the University of Arkansas and East Carolina University. Garry is involved in research and serves as a reviewer for a variety of sports medicine journals, including the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Garry has a clinical practice in Sports Medicine as well as attends at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. He is an active instructor for the UMMC Family Medicine residency program. He speaks on Family Medicine and Sports Medicine topics nationally and internationally.
