Why I chose Minnesota: I chose the University of Minnesota for residency primarily because of the familial spirit that existed throughout the department in addition to the exceptional clinical training and the storied history of the program. Living in the Twin Cities also offered ample opportunity for outdoor activities, sporting events, music, food and theatre.
