Dr. Chauhan's research interests are in pancreatic adenocarcinoma variants and their molecular signatures. Optimizing cytology cell blocks in lung cancers for ancillary testing.

Summary

Dr. Chauhan completed her medical school in India and headed to University of Minnesota for her residency. She chose the program for its strong teaching curriculum, diverse training sites and nurturing environment. She believes the residency training is well-rounded for a career in academic or community practice. She completed a Cytology fellowship followed by Gastrointestinal pathology fellowship.  Dr. Chauhan loves Minnesota summers and Fall. In her free time, she likes to read, explore diverse food options in the Twin Cities and spend time with her family.
