Summary

Dr. Bu is a board certified anatomic pathologist whose area of expertise is in renal pathology and genitourinary pathology. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams including nephrologists, transplant surgeons, and urologists in providing expert care to patients with kidney, urinary bIadder, prostate, adrenal, and testis diseases. Her role involves establishing accurate tissue diagnosis on biopsies and surgical excisions, a critical component in guiding treatment decisions.

In addition to the clinical diagnostic role, Dr. Bu is involved in medical student, resident and fellow education as well as transnational research. Her research projects mainly focus on glomerulonephritis, renal allograft rejection, and testicular germ cell tumor.
