Endovascular Surgery Neuroradiology Fellowship, University of Minnesota Medical School, 2017

BS, Florida Institute of Technology (Pre-professional Biology/Molecular Biology)

Summary

Dr. Quinn earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and his undergraduate from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is currently working on an Endovascular Fellowship through the Department of Neurology at the U of M.

Prior to starting his neurosurgery residency, Dr. Quinn spent several years working as a Bio-safety Level 3 lab manager/associate scientist at the Midwest Research Institute in Palm Bay, FL, where he worked with biological threat agents such as anthrax, the plague, and botulinum toxin. He also conducted scientific work while at the lab, providing method development, method improvement, test plan development, and experimental designs.

Building his teaching skills, Dr. Quinn taught cerebrovascular anatomy to first-year medical school students at the U. He also volunteered in Duluth, MN, working with programs such as Native Americans into Medicine, High School Education and Leadership Training for Health Professionals (HEALTH), and teaching grade school children about human physiology and anatomy.
