Summary

Dr. Fowler trained all over the country starting at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA for medical school, the University of New Mexico for residency, and Children's National/Medstar in Washington, DC for fellowship. She came to Minnesota for a job in pediatric and adolescent gynecology at Children's Minnesota where she is clinically busy but does try to fit in some research and teaching. She lives with her husband and their 3 dogs, who all are usually found outside.

Research

Research Summary/Interests

Published research in gynecologic care for transgender patients, pain relief with IUD insertion, gynecologic concerns for patients with congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Current projects include expanding enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) principles to pediatric surgery and PCOS in adolescents.
