As a sports medicine physician, I strive to practice patient-centered, individualized care to address my patients' needs while helping them to identify and work towards their personal health and fitness goals. I believe in providing strong patient education to best equip my patients and athletes with a thorough understanding of their injury and treatment options. I also prioritize injury prevention, cutting edge diagnostics and interventions, and developing comprehensive rehabilitation plans with my interdisciplinary team.

Dr. Honsvall is a primary care sports medicine physician specializing in acute and overuse injuries in athletes and active people of all ages. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and University of Minnesota Methodist Family Medicine Residency. She then completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles, where she served as a Team Physician for UCLA Athletics and Santa Monica High School, in addition to working with the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Dodgers. She now serves as a primary care sports medicine physician within the University of Minnesota Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
