Summary
I received my BA in Psychology from Emory University, Atlanta. I completed both my masters and my PhD (with highest honors) in clinical psychology, from Illinois Institute of Technology. I further completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the child and adolescent mood program from Emory University School of Medicine. I am a Clinical Child Psychologist with an expertise in trauma and anxiety related disorders. In my role as Director for Child & Adolescent Clinical Programs, I oversee clinical services and training at multiple locations. My passion is interprofessional education for which I provide individual supervision as well as administrative oversight of several programs. My research focuses on interprofessional collaboration and education. This includes directing the department's move toward team based care and disseminating outcomes relating to this experience. Additionally I track efforts at enhancing interprofessional learning opportunities among numerous groups of learners. I train and supervise clinical psychology graduate students and interns as well as psychiatry fellows. I am also a member of the training faculty for the University of Minnesota Medical School APA-accredited psychology internship. I am a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota and provides clinical services in the Child and Adolescent Anxiety program. I conduct psychological assessments as well as individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. In conjunction with individual therapy, I conduct family therapy and parent guidance sessions when indicated. I am also nationally certified in Trauma-Focused CBT.
