Summary

Cody Tucholke is currently a Researcher 1 at SDI. He started as a volunteer on islet metabolism studies in July 2017. After continuing those studies for academic credit in the fall of 2017, finishing his undergrad with a B.S in Biology from the University of Minnesota in December 2017, and working part-time with the Institute, Cody started working full-time with SDI in October 2018. As part of the Cellular Manufacturing Core, Cody participates in islet isolations for the treatment of chronic pancreatitis in humans through TPIAT and for researching treatments for type I diabetes through xenotransplantation. Cody's research has continued in islet metabolism, RNA expression patterns, and histology.
