Summary

Dana Le joined the Schulze Diabetes Institute as a Researcher 1 in November 2019. She graduated with a B.A. in Sociology and a Minor in Chemistry and Biology from Regis University in Denver, CO in 2013.Before coming to SDI, she obtained invaluable high complexity testing skills for clinical and preclinical analysis/assay, quality control, and best practices for GLP, GCLP, and GCP for international organizations. She assists Dave Heller in the apoptotic donor leukocyte (ADL) “Vaccine” manufacturing for primate allo- and porcine xenotransplantation studies. Her work focuses on optimizing the manufacturing (cGMP) process for future clinical and preclinical trails, which her previous experience assisting with troubleshooting quality control and analysis/assays has been especially helpful for.
