Summary
It is a tremendous privilege and responsibility to care for the sick and injured. As a surgeon and intensivist, patients come to me often not by choice, but forced by some illness. It is an incredible scary and vulnerable time for them and for their loved ones. I strive to ease those fears and provide the best care possible, with knowledge, skill, and most importantly compassion.
