Summary
Dr. Mustapha went to University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and then completed her internal medicine and pediatric residency training at the University of Minnesota. She spent a year as Chief Resident in the Department of Pediatrics prior to joining the faculty in both the departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, as a clinician educator and hospitalist. She is currently the Associate Program Director of the Med-Peds Residency Program and the Director of Clinical Coaching for the medical school. Her academic interests include both undergraduate and graduate medical education, with a focus on clinical performance and equity, diversity, and inclusion in the clinical learning environment.
