Gretchen Lilja is a Nurse Clinician with the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant Program. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Metropolitan State University, and has a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She started her career with the Pediatric Blood and Marrow unit as a nursing assistant in 2010 and then worked as an inpatient nurse from 2012 until 2015 when she transitioned to her role as an outpatient care coordinator. Gretchen’s role as a coordinator includes patient education, care coordination, and long-term follow-up care. She works primarily with the families and patients affected with the genetic skin disorder Epidermolysis Bullosa.
