LHS Design Shop February 9, 2023

Join us for Dr. Alan Love's design shop "Rigor and Reproducibility in Clinical Research: Transparency and Teams."

Although most affirm the need for rigor and reproducibility in scientific research, ongoing difficulties with the replication of findings and the complexity of institutional bureaucracy suggest implementation is a major challenge. This interactive presentation uses two themes—transparency and teams—to probe the diverse practical issues facing clinical researchers and illustrates the "many faces of reproducibility" (https://reproducibility.umn.edu/) that have an impact on the capacity to translate evidence into beneficial healthcare outcomes.
