The Center for Learning Health System Sciences (CLHSS) at the University of Minnesota and Fairview Health Services are pleased to welcome Ashley Eggman, who is stepping into the role of Learning Health Systems (LHS) Program Manager at Fairview. The position plays a vital leadership role in advancing learning health system initiatives across the organization.

In this role, Eggman will collaborate closely with Fairview IT, Fairview Research Administration, Compliance and Privacy, Clinical Operations, Investigators, and CLHSS. Her work will support and enable LHS initiatives, enhance research capabilities within IT, and strengthen system-wide learning and ongoing optimization efforts.

Eggman brings a strong background in clinical research and systems improvement, along with a master’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Most recently, she served as a System Improvement Analyst in Perioperative Services, primarily based at the University of Minnesota Medical Center.

In sharing her excitement about the new role, Eggman said, “I am passionate about advancing the quality of care and enhancing the experiences of clinicians, patients, and caregivers through initiatives CLHSS supports. I’m excited to learn from the expertise within CLHSS and contribute to projects that make a difference in patients’ lives.”

Outside of work, Eggman and her family live in Falcon Heights and enjoy walking to the Minnesota State Fair each year.
