Elizabeth Lindemann Takes On New Leadership Role

Elizabeth Lindemann, MHA, is transitioning into a new leadership role as System Director of AI and Automation at Fairview. Elizabeth has been a crucial member of the CLHSS team since the Center’s founding in 2021.

For the past four years, Elizabeth served as the Learning Health System (LHS) Program Manager at Fairview where she led the use of data for embedded research and quality improvement initiatives across the Fairview and University of Minnesota health systems.

She oversaw development of the LHS data platform, a collaborative framework that stores and processes real world electronic health data to be used in LHS research and healthcare operations.

Elizabeth’s work has been critical to our efforts to improve patient care. Thanks to the collaboration between Fairview and CLHSS, innovations developed through the RapidEval program have reached over 450,000 patients. Additionally, healthcare delivery at Fairview has been meaningfully improved through predictive models and digital technology solutions.

After overseeing the growth of the LHS program, Elizabeth will now lead the development and implementation of AI strategies and solutions across Fairview. Her new position will involve creating a comprehensive AI and automation strategy for the organization, as well as leading the implementation of governance and oversight practices for leveraging these tools.

“The work I find most rewarding is being able to leverage innovative technology to meaningfully impact those around me,” said Elizabeth. “I think this will be an opportunity to expand my current framework of serving others to consider how technologies scale within a large enterprise organization.”
