Glomerular Diseases and Vasculitis Fellowship Program

The Glomerular Diseases and Vasculitis Fellowship provides specialized training in autoimmune diseases that affect the kidneys and other glomerular conditions. Graduates of this program will gain in-depth knowledge and skills for more effective and safer treatment of patients with these diseases. The fellowship benefits from the University of Minnesota's strong clinical and research programs, offering a comprehensive training experience. 

This is a one-year fellowship, but a second year might be available for fellows who secure funding through grants such as the F32 or R25, or from national foundations and programs like the Vasculitis Foundation, National Kidney Foundation, NEPTUNE, or CureGN.

Eligibility and Applications
  • Completed or anticipated completion of a two-year ACGME-accredited nephrology
    fellowship is required.
  • Passed USMLE Steps 1, 2, and 3
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required; the program may consider
    H-1B visa holders.
