Dr. Kamdar Named 2024 Emerging Leader in Health and Medicine
We are excited to announce that Dr. Forum Kamdar of the Cardiovascular Division has been selected as a 2024 Emerging Leader in Health and Medicine (ELHM) Scholar by the National Academy of Medicine (NAM). The prestigious program invites a select group of early- to mid-career professionals from diverse health-related fields. NAM's Emerging Leaders in Health and Medicine Program offers a unique platform for the next generation of leaders to collaborate with NAM to advance science, address persistent challenges in health and medicine, and spark change to improve health for all.
Each year, NAM selects 10 outstanding ELHM Scholars to participate in activities that address critical topics shaping the future of health and medicine. Dr. Kamdar will serve a three-year term as an ELHM Scholar from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027.
