Racial Differences for Urine Toxicology Screens Ordered for Patients Admitted for Labor & Delivery: A Retrospective Study
The overall purpose of this study is to evaluate if there are any differences based on race or ethnicity in the frequency/rate of urine drug screen (UDS) ordered for patients who are admitted for labor and delivery (L&D). Data will be used to inform and improve L&D healthcare delivery in terms of equity for patients, which will allow our organizations to better achieve culturally and linguistically appropriate service standards (CLAS).
