We are proud to share that Dr. Carla Rothlin, incoming Director of the University of Minnesota's Center for Immunology (CFI), has been elected Vice-President of the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS), a prestigious and influential role within the global immunology community.

IUIS is the international umbrella organization representing national and regional immunological societies from around the world, including the American Association of Immunologists (AAI). Its mission is to promote the advancement of immunology through international collaboration, education, and advocacy, and to support the global immunology community in addressing major health challenges.

Dr. Rothlin will serve a three-year term as Vice-President, after which she will assume the role of President of IUIS for the subsequent three years, beginning after the 2028 IUIS Congress.

Her election is a tremendous honor and a testament to her leadership, scientific excellence, and commitment to fostering international cooperation in immunological research. As Vice-President and future President, she will help shape the direction of immunology worldwide and represent the voices of immunologists across all disciplines and continents.
