Catalog Description:  This elective provides the student with the opportunity to work with nursing, social work, OT/PT, healthcare administration, nutrition, and pre-med students with a collaborative, hands-on experience in interprofessional care. Through clinical experience, case-based learning, reflective practice, and simulation, students will explore team-based approaches to a simulated infectious disease outbreak in a rural community.  This elective is a collaboration between the University of Minnesota Medical School, CentraCare Family Physicians in Sauk Centre, and Concordia College.
