The 20th Dr. William Krivit Lectureship in Pediatrics
As a part of the Pediatric Grand Rounds Series, we are proud to announce the 20th Dr. Krivit lectureship on "Measuring the Lived Experience of Rare Disease: the National Economic Burden of Rare Disease Study" with Annie Kennedy, Chief of Policy and Advocacy, The EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases.
History of the Award:
The Dr. William Krivit Lectureship Series was created in 2000 to honor Dr. Krivit, a pioneer in the use of blood stem cell transplantation for rare, inherited disorders. Experts in the field are invited to present their research, experience and insight regarding topics related to genetic and metabolic diseases. This University of Minnesota lectureship series has the goal of promoting ongoing education and enhancing the understanding of the biology and therapy of these patients.
