Becoming a Mentor: A Workshop for New (and Future) Research Mentors of Undergraduates, hosted by CTSI
[This event was rescheduled from an earlier date.] Participants will differentiate between technical advising and mentoring, define core roles of effective research mentors, and prepare to engage in evidence-based mentoring practices to support undergraduate researchers. This workshop will build upon the concepts outlined in the self-paced, online training module, Optimizing the Practice of Mentoring 102: For Research Mentors of Undergraduate Students. Participants are asked to complete this module before participating in the July 21 workshop.
