BGREAT Seminar on Graduate Student Mental Health

The BGREAT graduate programs and the Office of Professional Development (OPD) invite you to a seminar on graduate student mental health featuring Dr. Kaz Nelson on Tuesday, October 6th at 12:15PM. This seminar is a collaborative, joint effort by the OPD and the following graduate programs: Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biophysics (BMBB), Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics (MCDB&G), Integrative Biology and Physiology (IBP), Stem Cell Biology, Microbiology, Immunology and Cancer Biology (MICaB), Rehabilitation Science, Pharmacology, and the Graduate Program in Neuroscience (GPN).

Dr. Nelson will equip you with a framework for understanding and maintaining your mental health in the context of a stressful academic program. There will be a 30 minute presentation by Dr. Nelson followed by a 30 minute question and answer session. Please consider what questions you have for Dr, Nelson and feel free to submit them ahead of time here. The presentation portion of the seminar will be recorded, the Q&A session will not. Zoom information is listed below. Please let me know if anyone has any questions. I think this will be an excellent seminar and encourage everyone to make every effort to attend.
