Congrats to RSC students Cabelka and Summers on Receipt of Foundation for Physical Therapy PODS II Awards

The Promotion of Doctoral Studies (PODS) II awards are for Ms. Christine Cabelka's work entitled “Bazedoxifene is an Estrogen Receptor Agonist which works through ER-alpha to Impact Physical Activity and Skeletal Muscle Function” and Ms. Bekah Summer's work "Assessing and Modulating Cerebellar Function in Cervical Dystonia using Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation."  Both Christine and Bekah are commended for receipt of this highly competitive award.  Ms. Cabelka is advised by Dr. Dawn Lowe and Ms. Summers by former faculty Dr. Teresa Kimberley, now faculty at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, and by Dr. Lowe here at the U of MN.
