Dr. Fiol Returns to Puerto Rico With Much-Needed Medical Supplies

After volunteering at an emergency medical shelter in San Juan following Hurricane Maria, Dr. Miguel Fiol returned to Minnesota to drum up support and supplies for his return journey. He saw the lack of basic medical supplies such as antibiotics and insulin and was determined to help. His crowdfunding page raised over $11,000, more than his goal of $10,000. With help from the College of Pharmacy, he returned Sunday with much-needed supplies. Read more.
