Dr. Kumar Belani Inducted Into Academy for Excellence in Health Care Practice

Kumar Belani, MD has been selected as an Academy for Excellence in Health Care Practice 2018 inductee.

Said Dr. Belani "Thanks to my colleagues in the Department of Anesthesiology to whom this award belongs for all the support and confidence and most importantly to the Chair, Dr. Michael Wall for leading the Department to new levels and making it possible and encouraging individuals to achieve their goals."

The University of Minnesota Academic Health Center (AHC) Academy for Excellence in Health Care Practice is intended to serve as the highest recognition of excellence in the practice or provision of healthcare by AHC faculty.

Those few selected will have demonstrated their ability to deliver the highest level of healthcare and/or developed and implemented an important innovation for health care delivery with proven efficacy. All members of the Academy will also have demonstrated the highest level of ethics and professionalism during their career.
