On Tuesday, March 31, Professor, Dr. Mustafa al’Absi with Dr. Arwa Ben Salah of the University of Monastir, Tunisia, discussed their findings on the impacts of COVID-19 on global mental health and substance use problems. The information stems from Dr. al’Absi’s novel analysis, revealing the behavioral and socioeconomic dynamics of how people have adjusted during the pandemic.

In partnership with Africa and Middle East Congress on Addiction (AMECA), the Duluth Global Health Research Institute (DGHRI) will host monthly seminars unpacking the global impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
