Dr. Tignanelli Named Chair of the Health Informatics Committee, American College of Surgeons
Assistant Professor Christopher Tignanelli, MD MS FACS FAMIA, with the Division of Acute Care Surgery, was recently named Chair of the Health Informatics Committee, American College of Surgeons.
A triple board-certified in General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Clinical Informatics, Dr. Tignanelli will be charged with the evaluation and preparation of interactive technologies for all aspects of fellowship management and education. He will also be leading the committee in preparing and maintaining the policies necessary to coordinate and ensure compatibility of information technology.
