M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital Named a Rare Disease Center of Excellence

M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital has recently joined only 31 centers nationwide by being named a Rare Disease Center of Excellence by the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD). We were chosen through a competitive application process for showing a deep commitment to serving rare disease patients using a top tier approach, as well as for other factors such as expertise, physician training, and research. These new medical and research advancements are being used right here in our state’s only children’s hospital to improve the lives of those directly in our community and those coming to Minnesota for medical care. We are so proud and honored to receive this recognition by NORD, and are so thankful for all who played essential roles to accomplish great things.
