Minnesota’s Commissioner of Health to Speak at Mpls World Health Day Program

Minneapolis World Health Day Program

Health leaders, including Minnesota’s Commissioner of Health, Dr. Ed Ehlinger, will sign a consensus statement entitled, “Advancing Health Equity This Generation: The Case for Social Medicine,” which calls for the transformation of health professional training to emphasize and focus on the social and structural determinants of health. The Minneapolis World Health Day program will feature keynote remarks for Commissioner Ehlinger and fellow Minneapolis health system leaders.
