The next Minnesota Spinal Cord Injury Model Systems (MN SCIMS) Grand Rounds is scheduled for Thursday, February 3, from noon to 1 pm CT. Carrie Shogren, OTR/L from Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute will present the topic, Activity Based Locomotor Exercise (ABLE), an Intensive Fitness Program at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. MN SCIMS is a collaboration between Allina Health Courage Kenny Rehab Institute, Mayo Clinic, Regions Hospital, and the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School, and includes community engagement with Unite 2 Fight Paralysis, the Minnesota Spinal Cord Injury Association, the Get Up Stand Up to Cure Paralysis Foundation, the Minnesota Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America, the North American Spinal Cord Injury Consortium, and the United Spinal Association.
