Researcher Aims to Save Lives of Cardiac Arrest Patients

Dr. Demetri Yannopoulos is investigating a new procedure to save the lives of patients who don’t respond to initial attempts to restart the heart after a cardiac arrest. His new process, which has been adopted by several local hospitals increases cardiac arrest survivals rates by around 30 percent.
