Sharing the Joy of Match Day

If you need something to cheer you up, to remind you why we do what we do here as the Medical School, or why you are working so hard in medical school, I heartily recommend watching the Match Day video. There is some great advice (for all of us) and emotional support. But the best part is the faces of the students--relieved that they have achieved this milestone in their education, excited about what is to come. This year they joined us from cars, from the Appalachian Trail, sometimes surrounded by friends or family, sometimes alone, sometimes with distractingly cute babies and children. A special thanks to Rachel Rudeen for navigating the technology and sharing the joy.

It is a good way to remember to celebrate all that we do and the remarkable people we do it with.

Congratulations and best wishes to all of our graduating students!
