The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology announces the appointment of Siddhartha Sen to our faculty as an assistant professor effective July 30. Sen comes to us from the Baylor University College of Medicine where he was a clinical fellow in molecular genetic pathology. He completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Duke University last year.

Sen earned his M.D. from the University of Pune in India and a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology, LSU Health Sciences Center. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Rochester, a research associate in medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and an assistant scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
