Congratulations to our outstanding employees who recently retired - Carol Bigalke, Mickey Dunning, Mary Macauley, Danette Oien and Jeanne Traaseth. Surgery Resident Dr. Marisa Christinia work to advance equity was featured in Dean Nunez inaugural DEI Newsletter:  "The Department of Surgery's DEI Council Trainee Subcommittee hosted a "Meet and Greet Surgery Residents" panel with medical students from SNMA, LMSA, APAMSA, Pride in Healthcare and Women in Surgery. Organized by Dr. Marisa Christinia, this event was a first step to building relationships with historically underrepresented medical student groups.
