Talking cancer survivorship with U of M

With June being National Cancer Survivor Month, Karim Sadak, MD, MPH, MSE, Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, was interviewed to talk about all aspects of cancer survivorship. In addition to his role in the Department of Pediatrics, he is also the Director of Cancer Survivor Program, directing his expertise toward providing treatment, recovery, and survivorship care to pediatric and adolescent patients. In this question and answer session, Dr. Sadak talks about recent cancer treatment and therapy options, how to support loved ones diagnosed with cancer, and the lifelong challenges that come for those impacted.
