Mpls.St.Paul Magazine recently recognized 168 University of Minnesota Medical School faculty members from 18 different departments as 2021 Top Doctors. This year, Department of Radiation Oncology professor Kathryn Dusenbery, MD, and assistant professor Margaret Reynolds, MD both made the list.

Top Doctors are nominated by their peers, who are asked which physicians they would go to for medical care, and are chosen through a process that involves extensive research and peer review. The doctors who acquire the highest total points from the surveys, research and the expert physician review panel are named Top Doctors.

The magazine also highlights "Rising Stars" every spring, recognizing exceptional physicians who have been fully licensed to practice for 10 years or less. This year, assistant professor Chris Wilke, MD, PhD, was named to that list.
