Welcome New Trainees!

First-year resident Dr. Mahmood Alatbee, pictured on the right, is enjoying GME Orientation with Goldy! Learning is a challenging but rewarding experience here at the University of Minnesota. Each year, we accept new trainees into our highly competitive fellowships, residency, and doctorate programs.

Trainees are learning something new every day through a curriculum composed of didactics, research, and extensive hands-on training that will prepare them in their career. We are excited at the prospect contribution each student, fellow, and resident will bring to this department and the community and would like to extend a warm welcome to them on the start of furthering their education and training.
