William Kennedy Research Symposium

The Annual Neurology Department's William Kennedy Research Symposium is occurring at the beginning of May. 

This event includes keynote speaker Erika Augustine, MD, MS. Dr. Augustine is the Associate Chief Science Officer and Director of the Clinical Trials Unit in the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Invited faculty speakers include Yoon-Hee Cha, MD from the Movement Disorders Division, and Jeffrey Allen, MD, MS, from the Neuromuscular Disease Division from our department. 

The goal of this event is to promote research and scholarship for trainees in the field of Neurology. The symposium will include the keynote address, research updates from the invited faculty, and a poster session. Lunch will be provided at this event. 

This poster session is a competition for Fellows, Residents, and Medical students interested in the areas of Neurology, Health Equity, or Health Disparity. Trainees can submit their posters for critique by members of the NRRC, and are encouraged to do so. Posters will be judged on the basis of scientific merit and clarity. Prizes will be awarded!

This event will take place in the University's Health Sciences Education Center, Room 3-110
