Notably, UMMC was honored with a “Best Regional Hospital for Community Access” award, the only hospital in the M Health Fairview organization to receive this distinction. This award recognizes success in providing high-quality care to patients across all socioeconomic groups.
M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital also saw substantial progress, climbing to #4 in the metro and #6 in Minnesota, up from #5 and #7, respectively. Southdale received "High Performing" status in 16 procedure and condition categories, a notable increase from 10 in 2024. M Health Fairview St. John’s Hospital made its debut in the rankings, securing the #8 spot in the metro and #11 (tied) in Minnesota, after being unranked in both categories in 2024. Across the entire M Health Fairview organization, an impressive 50 procedure and treatment categories earned “High Performing” status, a significant rise from 34 last year.
