What is your specialty:
Obstetrics and Gynecology

Why I chose my specialty:
Obstetrics and Gynecology provides a wide variety of therapies and treatment options to address women’s health issues. It spans obstetric care such as delivering babies, managing the pregnancies and providing preconception counseling to addressing gynecological concerns such as abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis and their associated medical and surgical treatments. I also enjoy the continuity of care I have with my patients throughout the course of their lives in dealing with their obstetric and gynecological concerns.

Why Medicine:
I felt that medicine was a subject I could get into that would allow me to contribute in a positive way to people’s lives. It was a subject that I grew to love given my interest in biology and physiology. It has been a fulfilling career that always provides challenges to overcome.
